Like the sun climbing into the eastern sky Gospel artist Tere’sa [pronounced – “Tur-Es-Uh”] reemerges from behind the veil with her long awaited follow-up album, ‘Glory & Honor’ to be released spring 2010 on Atlanta based LIFE Records.
An anointed and creative singer/songwriter Tere’sa boasts an impressive repertoire of original music that personifies her artistry as a woman after God’s own heart and her innate ability to sing from the heart with emotive intensity and relativity.
Garnering experience as a chanteuse for Christ her talent flourished as background vocalist, supporting vocalist with the Higher Living Christian Church formerly New Birth South Metropolitan Church women’s choir (metro-Atlanta), to sharpening her gift of song by sharing the stage with the likes of Beverly Crawford, Bishop Virgil Patterson, the Canton Spirituals, to Richard Smallwood.
Putting feet to her faith her music ministry passage has garnered her several awards, winning numerous vocal competitions and participating in various choirs and ensembles throughout the US. Releasing her1999 debut album ‘Sanctuary,’ Teresa explains the inspiration behind her music, “My music incorporates elements of praise and worship and it is the culmination of many years of experiencing the goodness of the Lord.
